Bob Odenkirk, in a suit, is waiting at a bus stop next to me. As my bus shows up first, Bob gives me a shrug as if to indicate, “My bus is always late.” Omar from the Wire’s voice had been running through my head for a while, but I do a quick check and realize I’m not wearing headphones. I yell to Bob as I step onto the bus, “Complaining won’t get your bus here any quicker!” My driver is the guy from OK Go, the one who isn’t actually the lead singer but kind of pretends to be for some of the videos. The inside of the vehicle is my cousin’s kitchen, where an impromptu insect dance party is taking place, mainly on the table. The best dancers are a beetle and two ladybugs, one of which starred in a potentially viral video, but we are all enjoying ourselves.
